Dj Kilmore vai estrear o video chat do Incubus HQ, quinta 3pm (horário de Los Angeles, por volta das 19h no Brasil). Será criado um tópico no fórum para as perguntas, você também pode entrar no chat um pouco antes do horário e fazer suas perguntas por lá, além disso conectar seu skype e eles poderão fazer uma chamada e você conversar com o Kilmore.

Atualizações sobre turnê
Steve soltou mais informações sobre a próxima turnê.
A princípio a Austrália não está incluída nos shows da 'área do Pacífico', provavelmente eles irão por lá no começo de 2012. O shows na América do Sul também parece que serão no primeiro semestre de 2012. Mas ele deixou claro que como depende do lançamento do cd, tudo isso pode mudar.
Ben-Pacific Rim does not include Australia on this first run. I think Australia happens at the top of 2012. South America looks like it could happen in Q1 2012. But let me stress its very early in the planning process and anything could change depending on Radio release dates and retail date. Phil-We intend to open the IWHQ site up to Facebook soon. Mais uma vez, o Steve nos atualizou. Vou colocar aqui os pontos principais da mensagem:

End of Week Wrapup
"Well its been a very busy week here at the Incubus HQ starting with breakfast in NYC and ending today with a little golf with Chris Kilmore. As I'm sure everyone on the site is aware of by now the band has finished album #6. I was back in NY to play the record for our friends at Sony Music. Its always fun and a little nervewracking to play any new album for the first time, for the band (See Mike talk about being brave) and the manager. But I'm happy to report that the folks at Sony loved it and can't wait to get it out and the record is being mastered today and the whole planning process goes into full motion. Its exciting stuff. You can bet I'll be up especially early on Monday to start putting some real dates on the Incubus calendar.
For those of you interested in our touring plans I can tell you its been a busy week on the phone with our agents and promoter partners around the world. We are very close to announcing dates for the Pacific Rim so if you live in that part of the world you'll want to be sure to checkin next week. For our friends in the US you'll be happy to know that the band will be touring the US this summer.
Its also been exciting to watch how many people are joining the INCUBUS HQ in our little beta phase. Right now we've got a little under 900 folks that have managed to find their way here but I think we should make this party a little bigger. So, take a moment this weekend, go to the INVITE button on the Toolbar at the top and invite some of your friends. Let's see if we can crack the 1000 member mark by Monday! We've got a whole shopping list of ideas we hope to implement here in the coming days and week to make it even better. So stay tuned and have a great weekend. - Renman"

Burn The Tapes is my first full length music video. It was recorded in between 2007 and 2010. The DVD version of this video has an accompanying audio CD with all new (at the time of release) music. I had a good time working on this project. Hopefully I'll get to make more videos in the future.

Twitter FAKE do Brandon
Aos que usam twitter e seguem o perfil brndnboyd saibam que é um perfil fake. Como o próprio Brandon já disse dezenas de vezes, ele não tem twitter, talvez um dia possa vir a ter. Ele acabou de colocar um post em sua página do facebook reforçando isso, que o usuário é um impostor, não entende o fascínio que algumas pessoas tem em fingir ser outra. E aproveitou a deixa para indicar o twitter da loja de sua namorada para quem quiser seguir...
E claro, a boa nova que o Steve Rennie já havia nos dito: o álbum está pronto!
Hello boys and girls. A birdie told me I was Tweeting again and wouldn't ya know it, it's not actually me! I may never understand the allure of pretending to be someone else. But who am I to wonder? I am still not on Twitter. brndnboyd on Twitter is an impostore! An Imposter! A fake! A sham! A Charlatan! A Ffffffffffaker! Ahhhh, I feel better.
Please don't be deterred from following this person on the ol' Twits-cadiddle, but if he or she has any intergrity at all they would at least let me have their name on Twitter so I could make a profile and see what it's like to play Make Believe.
Oh yeah, I think we just finished our album as well.
I may Tweet one day... I just wish they had a cooler sounding name for it. Like 'Brawn-ing'. Or, 'Husking'. Or, 'Dune-ing'. I don't know. 'Tweeting' sounds like I am sitting on a delicate branch in a tiny tree whistling Disney songs. Ok, fine. That sounds fun too...

CD #6 - Atualizações
Nada melhor do que ter o empresário mais dedicado do mundo como é o Steve Rennie do Incubus! Hoje tivemos novidades ótimas sobre o novo CD da banda lá no Incubus World Headquarter, por enquanto chamado de #06.
Finalmente as músicas estão na mão da gravadora da banda, a Sony, e agora é o tempo de sentar e esperar a aprovação deles. De acordo com Ren, o novo álbum terá algo em torno de 10 a 11 músicas e mais 5 canções bonus, que provavelmente serão lançadas como extras em albuns especiais.
O mais legal de tudo foi ver a banda querendo saber qual o formato do álbum que nós fãs gostaríamos de ter acesso. Ficou claro que tudo será lançado em versão digital (a $9,99 dólares o álbum) por conta da dinâmica do mercado hoje, mas também foi unânime o pedido de uma edição especial em vinil. Ren comentou como é quase inviável financeiramente lançar algo em versão física (CD/DVD/Vinil) na América do Sul, mas que ia conversar com o marketing da Sony para preparar algo para nós.

The new album will be released certainly in digital format (mp3, iTunes Store etc.), will have 10-11 songs and will cost around $9.99 US dolars. The great news is that the fans were asked about their favourite format and, for Ren's surprise, Vinyl disc was a huge catch on the answers.
Even knowing the obstacles of releasing an American band in South America (costs, taxes and low sellings), he said he was going to talk to Sony's marketing department to see what he could do.
That's a great way to start and album, listening to the fans needs, letting us being a part of the process.

O cd está pronto!
Steve acabou de deixar um post dizendo que o álbum número 6 esta 'na lata' ou melhor, no envelope.
Ontem ele pegou a cópia 7 do álbum no Henson Studios, até então ele só tinha ouvido as músicas separadamente, fora de ordem e elas ainda estavam sendo trabalhadas. Ontem de noite ele ouviu o álbum inteiro em sequência e tudo que pode dizer é 'WOW'. Como já havia dito, não há nada parecido com isso nos álbuns anteriores. E terminou falando: "Pessoal, fiquem atentos a festa está pra começar. Mal podemos esperar para vocês ouvirem".

Up until last night I'd only heard individual songs as they were being worked on, never final mixes, and never in sequence. Last night I heard the whole album and all I can say is "WOW". Like previous records it is nothing like its predecessors. Quintessential Incubus, but like no Incubus record before it. Stay tuned folks the party is about to start.
