Boas Festas (update)

Update: O empresário da banda confirmou o lançamento do cd "Greatest Hits" para 31 de março de 2009. Como já havia dito, trará 3 faixas inéditas. E existe a possibilidade de sair junto, um cd extra com material inédito de estúdio e de shows.

Falou que eles passaram alguns dias em estúdio "ensaiando" novas idéias. Há planos de shows nos EUA no verão americano (junho/julho) e talvez na Europa (provavelmente em algum festival). Os detalhes dará depois.


No site oficial foi postando um video atual, mostrando o que eles andam fazendo ultimamente.



Em uma mensagem de fim de ano, o Brandon escreveu que nesse mês dentre outras coisas, estão reunindo idéias e trabalhando num albúm 'Greatest Hits'. A novidade é que terá algumas músicas novas. Segundo ele, o cd deverá sair na primavera (americana) de 2009, ou seja em torno de abril aqui no Brasil.

Update: The band manager said that Greatest Hits/Best Of album which is scheduled for release on March 31. The guys have actually spent the last few days in LA rehearsing a bunch of new song ideas. The album will include 3 new songs at the very least. It might also include a bonus disc with all kinds of tidbits from the band's musical past including some unreleased stuff recorded in the studio and in concert.

Notícias

Como já se sabe, a banda fez alguns shows em festivais europeus, o último show foi dia 15 de junho no Festival Novarock, na Áustria.
Por enquanto a única apresentação marcada será dia 12 de julho em Los Angeles, num evento da VH1 em homenagem ao The Who.
Depois disso a banda ficará de férias por um ou dois anos até o próximo álbum.

A novidade é que - antes boato e agora confirmado pelo Brandon - José será pai.

The band will take a break for a time. The next show will be on July 12th on VH1 Rock Honors salute to the Who in LA. Now is true, Jose will be dad.

Sinfonia

Mike havia comentado sobre uma possível apresentação para mostrar a sinfônia "End.>vacuum" em que estava trabalhando, agora a data já esta marcada. Será dia 23 de agosto no UCLA Royce Hall, em Los Angeles. A sinfonia tem 9 movimentos, e terá cerca de 30 a 40 músicos. Mais informações aqui.
