Mais uma semana agitada no 'Incubus World'. Para os que se interessam por todos os detalhes do processo de gravação, o álbum novo foi masterizado essa semana em Nova York e a sequência final das músicas já está definida. A banda começou a trabalhar nas ideias da arte e embalagem. Normalmente essas coisas levam um tempo e tem um impacto sobre a data de lançamento e assim por diante. A primeira (de muitas) conversas entre administração e gravadora, começaram para desenvolver um plano de marketing mundial que vai responder a GRANDE QUESTÃO dos fãs? quando esse bebê vai ser lançado e quando poderemos ouvir alguma coisa. Há alguns rumores de que o álbum só chegue em agosto ou setembro, no entanto, eu acho que vocês podem esperar que o álbum saia bem antes, muito mais cedo de algumas restrições previstas.
Como sempre, temos muitas perguntas no Incubus HQ sobre os planos de turnê da banda. Agora só temos uma data confirmada que é 30 de julho no Fuji Festival no Japão. Todo mundo sabe que o Japão sofreu uma catástrofe monumental, um terremoto matador e uma tsunami que desencadeou uma enorme crise nuclear. Estamos monitorando essa situação diariamente. O promotor do show falou que tudo vai continuar como planejado, (e se for assim) então o Incubus vai se apresentar para os fãs japoneses.
Para os fãs da 'area do Pacífico', nós já temos datas agendadas que esperamos poder anunciar na próxima semana. Se tudo correr como planejado, nossos bons e velhos fãs dos Estados Unidos vão poder ver a banda no verão (americano) quando eles voltarem da 'area do Pacífico'. Para os nossos fãs em outras partes do mundo, os nossos agentes internacionais começaram a checar com os promoters na Europa para datas no outono, mas nada está confirmado, nós vamos deixá-lo saber os detalhes assim que estiverem disponíveis. Faz muito tempo que a banda se apresentou por aí então, eles voltarão em breve.
De volta ao Incubus HQ, as coisas arrancaram por aqui. O numéro de membros quase triplicou na última semana, apesar do site ser aberto apenas para convidados. Todos da banda tem olhado o site e eu acho que vocês vão 'sentir' eles um poucos mais nos próximos dias da semana que vem. Brandon fez um post rápido no chat, gostou do que viu e convidou muitos de vocês para o site através de sua página no facebook. DJ Kilmore teve a gentileza de passar pelo escritório para a nosso primeiro videochat na quinta-feira passada e respondeu a perguntas de fãs de todo o mundo e até falou "cara a cara " em tempo real através do skype com alguns. Um dos convidados foi Ben Kenney que ligau para dizer 'Olá', e respondeu algumas perguntas, e se comprometeu a agendar num videochat num futuro bem próximo. Essa transmissão estará disponível hoje, se você perdeu você ainda pode sentir uma parte dela.

Well its been another busy week in the Incubus world. For those of you who are interested in every detail of the recording process, the new album was mastered this week in the NY area and the final sequence of songs is now set. The band have started to work on artwork and album packaging ideas. Typically, these are the things that take some time and have a huge impact on release dates and the like. The first of many conversations have started between management and the label to develop a worldwide marketing plan that will include and answer the BIG QUESTIONS for fans....when is this baby coming out and when I am going to hear something. There have been some reports about the album arriving in August or September, however, I think that you can expect the album alot sooner than that barring some unforseen issues.
As always, we field lots of questions here at the IWHQ about what the band's touring plans are. Right now the only date confirmed is July 30 at the Fuji Festival in Japan. As everyone knows, Japan has suffered a monumental catastrophe with a killer earthquake and tsumami which triggered an ongoing crisis with its nuclear plants. This is a situation that we are monitoring on a daily basis. As of now, the promoter of the show has indicated that it will go on as planned and if that's the case then Incubus intends to perform for our Japanese fans. For the band's fans in the Pacific Rim we have dates scheduled which we hope to be able to announce this coming week. If all goes as planned, I think that our fans in the good old USA will likely see the band on the road this summer when they return from the Pacific Rim. For our fans in other parts of the world, our international booking agents have started to reach out to promoters in Europe for dates in the Fall but nothing is confirmed at this point but we will let you know details as they become available. Its been a while since the band has performed in Europe but they will definitely be back soon.
Back here at the IWHQ, things have been cranking. Our membership has almost tripled in the last week in spite of the fact that the site is open on an invite only basis. All of the band members have looked around the site themselves and I think you will be 'feeling' them a bit more in the days and weeks to come. Brandon made a quick post in the chat board, liked what he saw, and invited lots of you to the site through his FB page. DJ Kilmore was kind enough to stop by the office for our first ever HQ TV Video webcast this past Thursday and answered questions from fans around the world and even did a little 'face to face' time through a real time Skype call. One of the callers was Ben Kenney who called in to say hello, answer a few questions, and commit to a Vidcast himself which we schedule in the very near future. That broadcast will be available today as a on demand video so if you missed it you can still feel a part of it.
