Feliz Ano Novo Incubus World Headquarters!

Com 2012 andando e passadas as festas de fim de ano, é hora de voltar ao rock. Apesar do esforço da banda no fim de 2011, as doenças que causaram cancelamentos na Europa e também a apresentação no KROQ Almost Acoustic em Los Angeles, todos (especialmente Mike) estão se sentindo muito bem, tanto que gravaram algumas mensagens para os fãs, que foram compartilhadas durante o "Morning Briefing Holiday Special" com Steve. Para aqueles que perderam, ele foi gravado e pode ser visto aqui. Tem mensagens dos membros da banda, e foi durante o Morning Briefing que eles deram um 'presente de natal' para os fãs, o vídeo de 'The Original', dirigido por Brantley Gutierrez.

O iTunes ainda está oferecendo a coleção do Incubus. Um pacote com todos os álbuns de estúdio, a preços razoáveis, um grande negócio para os fãs mais recentes que querem recuperar o atraso de todas as músicas, ao longo desses anos.

O mundo online está mudando pouco a pouco para os fãs do Incubus. Jose oficialmente aderiu ao twitter (@JoseAPasillasII) e o chat do Incubus HQ foi convertido para um novo formato, que deve permitir que os usuários de celulares (principalmente iPhones ou outros produtos da Apple) possam usar o chat.

Além disso, o Incubus anunciou mais dois shows em dezembro. Eles estarão no Rock in Rio Madri junto com o Red Hot Chili Peppers e deadmau5. Mais informações aqui. Também estarão no festival de três dias Bamboozle em Asbury Park, Nova Jersey com Bon Jovi, Blink 182, Foo Fighters e outros. O Festival será de 18/5 a 20/5 de 2012, os ingressos já estão à venda. Como sempre, 2012 promete ser um ano bom. Em duas semanas a banda voltará aos palcos em Tóquio para o primeiro show do ano. Fique ligado! Há sempre algo ao virar a esquina.

With 2012 firmly underway and the holidays passed by, it's time to start getting back down to the business of rock. Although the band struggled through some periods of illness at the end of 2011, causing cancellations in Europe as well as the cancellation of their scheduled appearance at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles, everyone--especially Mike--is feeling much better, and in fact felt well enough to take some time out to record a few messages for the fans that were shared during the "Morning Briefing Holiday Special" with Renman. For those of you who missed the Christmas Eve "Morning" Briefing, it was recorded for posterity on the Livestream, and can be watched right here. There are messages from every member of the band, and it was during this Livestream event that they attempted to share their Christmas Present to their fans, the video for The Original, directed by Brantley Gutierrez. iTunes is still offering The Collection: Incubus, which constitutes all the band's studio albums in one easy, reasonably priced bundle, which remains a great deal for any fans who are new to the scene and need to catch up on all the great music Incubus has been putting out over the years.

The online world is changing bit-by-bit for the better for Incubus fans, too; Jose has officially joined Twitter (find him at @JoseAPasillasII) and the Incubus World Headquarters' chatroom has recently been converted to a format which should allow mobile users--especially those who use iPhones or other Apple products--to use the chatroom on the fly.

In addition, Incubus announced two more shows in December; they will be playing Rock in Rio Madrid on July 7th, 2012 along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and deadmau5. The official Rock in Rio website is here and should include all ticketing information for the Festival here. Incubus will also be performing during the three-day Bamboozle Festival at Asbury Park in New Jersey with Bon Jovi, Blink 182, the Foo Fighters, and others. The Festival will run from May 18th - May 20th 2012, and 3-day wristbands are already on sale. For those of you who cannot afford all three days of this epic rock extravaganza, never fear, there will be single-day wristbands on sale when the full lineups are released. As always, 2012 promises to be a good year. In two weeks the band will be back in action in Tokyo, Japan for their first concert of the year at Studio Coast. Stay tuned! There is always something just around the corner.
