With the If Not Now, When? World Tour in full swing, the pace is a bit of a grueling one for Incubus and their team. On the 23rd of July, Incubus left for foreign shores and kicked off the Pacific Rim leg of the tour in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, following up with concerts in Jakarta, Manila, Japan, South Korea and (after a short vacation in Hawaii) Honolulu. Songs from the new album as well as old favorites got dusted off and put on display during all of these concerts, several of which have been uploaded to Incubus HQ's own Mobile Roadie app. The app, currently available for iPhone and Android, can be found here: http://mobileroadie.com/apps/
After returning from Hawaii, Incubus went back to the grindstone, working hard to perfect the new stage show for the North American leg of the If Not Now, When? Tour. On Wednesday, August 10th, the band took some time out of practicing to appear on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show as the musical guest. Saturday, August 13th saw another break from the private rehearsals for the Breaking Bad Music Lab with Incubus. The band played a private show for an exclusive handful of lucky fans, unveiling the full power of their new light show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium after KROQ's live interview with Breaking Bad star, Dean Norris.
On Sunday, the band's Livestream began Fan Takeovers, featuring a few lucky fans' Dream Setlists for a few hours at a time. This will be an ongoing event courtesy of the Incubus team, and those fans who would like to see their Setlist make the cut and get a shout-out from the band on Twitter when the list is played should add their playlists to the list here! http://incubushq.com/profiles/
The upcoming week is going to be a big one, as it boasts the official start to the North American tour on August 17th at Red Rocks, Colorado. In celebration of the event, the band is streaming their return to Red Rocks totally free and totally live on their Livestream channel: http://bit.ly/incubuslive The show will start at approximately 7:45 PDT, but the Livestream will be streaming exclusive live content beforehand, so be sure to tune in early and tell all your friends!
