Update da Semana
Com a 'If Not Now When World Tour'em andamento, o ritmo está um pouco cansativo para o Incubus e sua equipe. No dia 23 de julho, a banda partiu para terras estrangeiras na Orla do Pacífico com shows em Kuala Lumpur, na Malásia, seguindo para Jacarta, Manila, Japão, Coréia do Sul e (depois de uns dias de férias no Havaí) Honolulu. Músicas do novo álbum, e velhas favoritas desses shows foram disponibilizadas, várias foram enviadas para o aplicativo do Incubus HQ. Depois de voltar do Havaí, estão trabalhando duro para aperfeiçoar o show para a parte norte-americana da If Not Now, When? Tour. With the If Not Now, When? World Tour in full swing, the pace is a bit of a grueling one for Incubus and their team. On the 23rd of July, Incubus left for foreign shores and kicked off the Pacific Rim leg of the tour in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, following up with concerts in Jakarta, Manila, Japan, South Korea and (after a short vacation in Hawaii) Honolulu. Songs from the new album as well as old favorites got dusted off and put on display during all of these concerts, several of which have been uploaded to Incubus HQ's own Mobile Roadie app. The app, currently available for iPhone and Android, can be found here: http://mobileroadie.com/apps/
After returning from Hawaii, Incubus went back to the grindstone, working hard to perfect the new stage show for the North American leg of the If Not Now, When? Tour. On Wednesday, August 10th, the band took some time out of practicing to appear on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show as the musical guest. Saturday, August 13th saw another break from the private rehearsals for the Breaking Bad Music Lab with Incubus. The band played a private show for an exclusive handful of lucky fans, unveiling the full power of their new light show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium after KROQ's live interview with Breaking Bad star, Dean Norris.
On Sunday, the band's Livestream began Fan Takeovers, featuring a few lucky fans' Dream Setlists for a few hours at a time. This will be an ongoing event courtesy of the Incubus team, and those fans who would like to see their Setlist make the cut and get a shout-out from the band on Twitter when the list is played should add their playlists to the list here! http://incubushq.com/profiles/
The upcoming week is going to be a big one, as it boasts the official start to the North American tour on August 17th at Red Rocks, Colorado. Esta semana, a página do Incubus no facebook Incubus, passou a três milhões de fãs! Notícias do 'If Not Now, When?' está se expandindo como uma supernova, mais fãs no Incubus World Headquarters, enquanto a banda se prepara para o lançamento do novo álbum e turnê.
Na segunda, os fãs que já fazem parte do grupo da Berlim/Alemanha no HQ, receberam um código para participar da pré-venda de ingressos para o show 17/6. Os ingressos estão quase esgotados, mas ainda resta o concurso para ganhar ingresso e acesso ao backstage, por isso não deixe de verificar o grupo de Berlim para saber os detalhes de como participar.
Na terça-feira, foi confirmada para dia 1/6 a pré-venda de ingressos para o show de Londres. Certifique-se que faz parte do grupo de Londres! A venda dos ingressos para o público em geral deve começar dia 3/6.
Na terça também, Steve Rennie fez sua estréia no twitter @Renman1 e freqüentemente posta novidades, é outra ótima maneira de se manter atualizado sobre a banda e suas atividades.
A banda vai para o 'HQLive' na quarta-feira (1/6). A partir do dia 3/6 (sexta) até a primeira semana de julho, tudo vai acontecer lá. This week, Incubus’ Facebook passed the three million fans mark! News of If Not Now, When? is expanding like a supernova, drawing more fans both returning and new to Incubus World Headquarters as the band gears up for their new album release and subsequent tour.
Monday night, fans who had already joined the Berlin local group on Incubus World HQ were given a code to participate in a presale for tickets to the June 17th show at Huxley’s. Tickets have almost sold out, but a contest still remains to win backstage access at this venue, so be sure to check out the Berlin group for details on how to participate.
On Tuesday, the HQ Presale for London HMV Forum tickets was confirmed for June 1st. Make sure you are part of the London group if you want a crack at the presale! The sale of the tickets to the general public should start on June 3rd.
Tuesday also saw Steve Rennie’s debut on Twitter. He can be found @Renman1 and frequently drops gems, candy, and bombs from his account, so it is another great way to keep in touch with the band’s latest news and activities.
The band’s move-in date for HQLive was announced on Wednesday; they will be finished making the space their own and moving in on June 1st. Starting June 3rd onwards through the first week of July, things will be happening at HQLive. Renman advises that music could ‘break out at any time’ and that fans in the Los Angeles area should keep an eye on Twitter, Facebook and the HQ mobile app to keep appraised of when the fun is happening. Thursday, the team revealed that, unfortunately, Meet and Greet packages will not be available for some of the upcoming venues. This is due to various logistic constraints that Incubus can not do anything to fix, but even these venues should still have contests upcoming for a lucky pair of fans to earn backstage access. A list of those venues which are confirmed NOT to have Meet and Greet packages available can be found here:http://incubushq.com/profiles/
Thursday was also the start of the HQ presale for Incubus’ Santa Barbara show on July 15th at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Tickets for this show went very fast and the show sold out shortly after the general public sale opened on Saturday.
While the presales moved forward on HQ, the band was hard at work filming the music video for the next single, Promises Promises. Steve Rennie shared some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of the filming in progress on his Twitter, and revealed that the video should be through editing and processing by June 10th, and premiered for fans across the world shortly after that.
Friday night and all Saturday the band’s Livestream channel got a workout, as Incubus Intern Francisco Stiglich shared his dream setlist as well as some of his favorite videos from the Incubus archives both recent and remote. The Livestream will be the place to be for many goodies in the future, so bookmark it and stay tuned!
